The outgoing president of the United States, Donald Trump, issued a new series of pardons for its allies on Wednesday, including Jared Kushner’s father, who join a long list of people to whom he was granted pardon in his last days in office.
In addition to the pardon for Charles Kushner – the father of his son-in-law Trump also forgave Paul Manafort, who was president of his 2016 campaign, and his lifelong ally, Roger Stone, the White House said in a statement.

They were among the 26 people pardoned and three to whom Trump commuted all or part of his sentences Wednesday.
These new pardons come just a day after Trump pardoned another 15 people and commuted the sentences to five. Tuesday’s list included two people linked to the investigation into the alleged collusion between his campaign and Russia and four Blackwater security guards convicted of the 2007 killing of 14 Iraqi civilians.
The move sparked outrage and Wednesday’s is likely to provoke a similar reaction. You can find real estate Charles Kushner pleaded guilty to charges including tax evasion and witness manipulation in 2004. Many had waited for his pardon, given his family connection.

Jared Kushner is married to Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, and is a senior adviser to the outgoing president. Manafort was one of the convicts in connection with the collusion investigation with Russia, while Stone was convicted of lying to Congress and obstructing a parliamentary inquiry into Moscow’s role in the 2016 election.
