Lorenzo Méndez responds to the divorce lawsuit that was filed by Chiquis Rivera.
Despite strong rumors of a possible reconciliation, Chiquis Rivera and Lorenzo Méndez are very close to formalizing their divorce after announcing a few months ago that they had decided to end their marriage that lasted just over a year.

On November 30, 2020, the legal document in response to the divorce lawsuit was filed by Lorenzo Mendez before the Los Angeles Superior Court. In it, the star requests the payment of his lawyers by Chiquis Rivera.
In the lawsuit filed by Chiquis Rivera in September, the singer requested that Méndez take charge of his lawyers’ fees and stressed that both parties waived their right to receive some form of pension because they had married under a prenuptial agreement.
The divorce lawsuit against Chiquis Rivera and Lorenzo Méndez also stipulated that both parties had restraining orders for the duration of the separation process and that this applies to anywhere in the state of California. .
At that time, the divorce lawsuit was to be answered by Méndez within 30 days and in the event that this did not happen, the Court could issue orders that would significantly affect him, including: Payments of fees and legal costs.
