The National Guard ordered the doors closed to access the Coliseo Pedrín Zorrilla as the maximum number of people to be vaccinated has reached today.
“Vaccination capacity for today, Thursday 24 December, has been completed. Only people who are already inside the Pedrín Zorrilla car park will be vaccinated,” they said in written statements.
The vaccination effort outside the hospitals began yesterday only for health personnel working outside hospital facilities.

Vaccination at Pedrín Zorrilla will continue on Saturday, December 26, as tomorrow, December 25, Christmas Day, operations will be halted. These are from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon.
According to General José Reyes, Assistant General of the National Guard, two additional vaccination centers are expected to open in the municipality of Caguas and Arecibo next Tuesday.
A call for patience is made as the vaccination screening is until June 30th.
