Nintendo and SNK have surprised Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite gamers with a new stealth version. Two days before Christmas and amid huge promotional sales of Nintendo eShop, SNK has launched Fatal Fury: first contact for Switch and Switch Lite, via Nintendo eShop, and right now, only via Nintendo eShop. In other words, the Switch and Switch Lite game, at least for now, is not available in retail in any form.
Starting today, all Nintendo Switch users can download the classic Neo Geo Pocket Color game that premiered in 1909 for just $ 8. As you know, this isn’t the first Neo Geo game released on Switch and Switch Lite by SNK, and it probably won’t be the last, but it’s the last.
In addition to $ 8, everything you download the game must have 147 MB of available space. That said, at Switch, the game not only supports all three game modes (handheld, TV, and tabletop), but supports up to two players. Unfortunately, however, language options are limited to English and Japanese only.
Below you can see a new trailer released by SNK to accompany the furtive speech:
As you know, Fatal Fury: first contact it was the tenth and final entry in the series to debut through the Neo Geo Pocket Color, but since then it has been brought to a myriad of platforms. One of the less popular entries in the series, is more or less a portable version of Real Bout 2, or at least is loosely based on the game that was introduced a year earlier.
