The information was revealed on Twitter by Freedom candidate for the New Ideas party, Walter Alemany. He added that the official would be in “recovery phase” after presenting a picture of COVID-19.

The candidate published on December 24 a photograph in which Chichilco is seen surrounded by medical staff of this hospital in what would be hours before Christmas Eve.
Also, other government officials confirmed that the minister is admitted to a medical center, and wished her a speedy recovery through social media.
