An expert weighs in on Nashville blast and says bombing “is not a spur of the moment”

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WTVF) – As authorities continue to investigate the Friday morning blast in downtown Nashville, experts tell NewsChannel 5 that they firmly believe the bomb’s location was not an accident.

There was so much planning that it should have been done to coordinate an explosion like this, and experts say that with coordination like this, you usually get someone to accept the credit sooner rather than later. That was not the case here, as we still need to have someone take responsibility for all of this damage.

NewsChannel 5 previously spoke with Alex Little, who is a senior national security prosecutor in our area. He says that normally, in an explosion of this magnitude, the goal is to create as much collateral damage as possible and this includes a massive loss of life.

Having heard a warning makes Little believe the reason was much more sophisticated.

“It simply came to our notice then. We have witnesses who say no one was there the night before, so this was scheduled to happen in the morning as well. Then you have someone who struggled to make a recording, pass the time, and risk the bomb sinking to send that warning for 30 minutes before it goes out. Therefore, this is not a spur of the moment. It took a lot of planning, ”Little said.

Little also said, “If you make an attack and you don’t deserve it, the person you’re going to attack knows why you’re doing it.”

According to him, the investigators behind the scenes will have to examine all possible reasons behind this, including the way everything relates to AT&T.

Little also mentioned that as a researcher, I would take a more detailed look at the surveillance video we have, where we can hear the RV’s message.

The video was posted from a Twitter and YouTube account created today and has no previous posts.

Little says you’ll have to look at whether this was posted by someone involved in the bombing. NewsChannel 5 will provide more details as they become available, but Little says he is also up to date with the latest information.
