Another large public gathering has raised concerns that Sydneysiders is not taking social distancing seriously enough, as the outbreak of northern beaches continues to increase.

With the northern beaches blocked, the rest of the port city is allowed to have outdoor meetings of 100 people with strict measures of social distancing.

On Saturday, NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard criticized the “backpackers” for not “giving importance to the rest of Sydney” after violating COVID-19 restrictions on partying on Christmas Day.
Some 300 partygoers ignored social distancing while partying on Bronte Beach, on the eastern outskirts of Sydney, before riot police broke off the party on Friday at 3pm.
A 25-year-old man received a notice of legal assistance because he allegedly failed to comply with police direction.
Hazzard said the fester’s behavior was “absolutely frightening” and could lead to a “more publicity event” during a press conference on boxing day.
It comes as Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia have banned all Sydneysiders from entering their states until coronavirus cases are zero.

“The people of the northern beaches have been making a great effort to sustain not only themselves, but the rest of Sydney,” Hazzard said.
“It’s absolutely horrible to see what was clearly a group of people, a large concentration of people, who didn’t care about the rest of Sydney.
“Let me tell you, I hope the event doesn’t turn out to be a super outreach event, but there is every chance it could be.
“In the early stages of the pandemic, we had some challenges with backpackers, with backpackers who clearly wanted to party in the eastern suburbs; you can’t go on.
“There is still a significant risk for us with COVID, and my message to those people and people who know any of these people is to tell them to stop it, to cut it, or it can end the virus. you or you may end up being part of a super-broadcast event. ”
A popular event would probably frustrate Sydneysiders, which is currently located outside of Victoria, Queensland and WA.
Other states such as South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT require Sydneysiders to be quarantined for 14 days after entry.
Only the Northern Territory allows Sydneysiders, except those on the beaches from north to north of Narrabeen, to arrive without quarantine.

The alleged backpackers were also killed on The Today Show, where radio presenter Carla Bignasca he told them to “come back where they came from.”
“We have all this fruit in trees that have to be harvested, vegetables that have to be taken out of the crops and yet they are sitting there beaten and wasted on the beach,” he said.
“How do they keep up if we have all this work for them and no one does anything?”
“I understand it’s Christmas day, but go back to where you came from.”
Ms Bignasca stressed that the virus is “virile and paralyzing” in Europe, while Australia is doing much better.
“If they can only see what’s going on at home, it’s good that we have it here, but for a reason,” he said.
“Respect the rules, obey the laws and don’t be a fool on the beach.”
Also featured on the Today Show program, radio presenter Brendan Jones said he “hunts them down and sends them back where they came from.”
Richard ‘Dickie’ Wilkins said it was “a big assumption” that all the partygoers were European backpackers, but they finally agreed.
“Wherever they are, there are separate families, people from border cities who can’t cross the border,” he said.

“Send them to Cottees (Cordial), my father takes out the fruit, my backpacker chooses it. Do that, ”he said.
A young man who allegedly attended the party should appear in court after he allegedly failed to follow police instructions to leave the area.
“A 25-year-old man received a notice of legal aid for breach of a leadership move,” an NSW police spokesman told the Daily Mail.
The rest of the people settled in and left the area.
“Police are reminding the community that the park is a no-go zone.”
Social distancing was non-existent in Bronte, as crowds danced very close together
Images appeared on Friday showing partygoers in Bronte wearing Santa’s festive hats, dancing tightly together and on the shoulders of others in a large crowd as the Sydney outbreak turned into 118 confirmed cases.
No facial masks were seen and social distancing was non-existent.
Hazzard immediately considered the group “ignorant” for spreading the deadly disease on Friday.
“I have the desire for youthful Christmas exuberance, but this is as irresponsible, ignorant and idiotic as it gets,” he told the Daily Telegraph.
“It’s a huge COVID-19 potential incubator.”
Social media users have also expressed anger over the images, as many families have been forced to separate due to the latest outbreak.
“I’m not sure these peaks would get the COVID grade,” a concerned local stressed in a video of the disturbing scenes.

Another added: “I’m not the Christmas Grinch and I’m not fooling anyone into having a good time after the year we’ve had, but I’m missing something? How come there are only ten people in a household but more of 200 people together in Bronte? ‘
Police were seen trying to disperse the massive crowd and ordering the partygoers to move in another video posted on Instagram.
NSW police confirmed that officers were called to Bronte around 3 p.m. they were aided by Public Order and Riot Squadron.
“Police were called in to disperse a large crowd at the site,” a spokeswoman told the Daily Mail Australia.
Only 10 people can gather inside, but up to 100 people can gather outside in Greater Sydney. It is believed that there were more than 300 people celebrating together in Bronte.
Police remained at the scene Friday night to closely monitor a handful of partygoers who chose to stay.
