After openly mocking Apple for omitting the necessary charger from the case of the new line of the iPhone 12, Xiaomi CEO has confirmed that the company will also remove the charger from the upcoming Mi 11 smartphone .
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed this on Chinese social networking site Weibo and was first seen The Verge, that the electronics company would abandon the power brick of the Mi 11 alleging environmental issues. Jun goes on to say that users already have a surplus of chargers and that the charger would be “canceled” for the Mi 11 device.

It comes just weeks after Xiaomi ridiculed Apple for the same act. Shortly after Apple launched the iPhone 12 line, Xiaomi tweeted that it “left nothing out of the box” regarding its own Mi 10T.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 will be announced at a press conference on Monday, December 28th.
