Robinson Cannon’s Major League batsman made his debut in the fall-winter baseball tournament.
Cannon connected a pair of home runs and towed four runs to lead the Eastern Stars to an 8-4 slate win over the Lions of the Chosen in the first game of the miniseries that will define the fourth-place finish in the semifinals series .
The winner of the mini-playoff, agreed to the best of three games, will face in the semifinals the Cibao Giants, who took first place in the regular season.
With the game tied at 4, Eric Filia shot double, scored with a single in central Christian Bethancourt and Jeremy Peña sentenced with a homer by the center producing two scores to crown the three-round rally in the sixth episode for pachyderms.
