Even if you have some of the best hardware you can buy, Cyberpunk 2077 is beyond being the new Crysis in terms of PC hardware requirements. Damn, the game is so next generation that it has virtually melted the PS4 and Xbox One consoles to the point that Cyberpunk 2077 was removed from these platforms.
But what if you want to get more performance without having to do much? This is exactly what the CodeZ1LLa programmer has done with its new EZ Optimizer for Cyberpunk 2077 which will offer up to 30 more FPS of game performance.
How it works? EZ Optimizer adjusts hidden developer settings that aren’t normally available to you, and it’s very easy, as you can only move it to the root folder of the Cyberpunk 2077 installation. From here, you’ll have 4 options to choose from:
- Max Boost: Provides the best possible image fidelity and a substantial increase in performance. This option is highly recommended for GeForce GTX 1060 and later.
- Balanced: Provides a reasonable balance between image quality and performance. Owners of the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti up to the GeForce RTX 20 (Turing) series should use this option before testing the default Max Boost configuration.
- By default: Resets the game to the default settings.
- Turn off asynchronous computing: This option helps increase the performance of GeForce GTX SKUs and is not recommended for new NVIDIA RTX models.

When using EZ Optimizer for Cyberpunk 2077, the performance of the new CodeZ1LLa software pushed its GeForce GTX 1070 Ti by an average of 42-51FPS with the default settings. When running the balanced mode performance increases from 54 FPS to 71 FPS, while Max Boost mode increases the performance from 51 FPS to 80 FPS much higher.
Performance will obviously vary from GPU to GPU and from CPU to CPU, going through a complete system depending on the SSD, and so on. and maybe run some of my 8K benchmarks again and finish my 1080p / 1440p / 4K settings.
