Singer Carlos Cuevas, a close friend, revealed that Armando Manzanero he had attended an event in Mérida, Yucatán, to pay homage to his impeccable artistic career. Many have pointed out that probably at this event the famous composer may have been infected with the virus; but Cuevas flatly denied it.
According to the singer, during the event that took place on December 11, the Yucatecan was quite healthy and even delighted those present with a spectacular performance; emphasizing that the event had the necessary sanitary measures like healthy distance and use of mouthguards.
