Phoebe Dynevor has revealed that an intimacy coordinator helped plan her “big” sex scenes in Bridgerton.
The 25-year-old actress, who plays the lead role in Daphne, explained how the “first scene” she shot for the Netflix show was with co-star Regé-Jean Page.
Although it only premieres on Christmas Day, the drama of the brazen era has already been a hit with viewers for its stunning scenery and elegant content.

Impressive: Phoebe Dynevor has revealed that an intimacy coordinator helped plan her “big” sex scenes in the Netflix-period drama Bridgerton.
Speaking to Grace about her sex scenes, Phoebe said, “My first scene was in the sixth episode, where Simon goes to Daphne.
“And it was so fantastic, because it felt safe and fun: the choreography as a trick or a dance. For me it’s crazy [an intimacy coordinator] has not been there in the past.
“I’ve done sex scenes before I can’t believe they did it – only five or six years ago, but now it wouldn’t be allowed.”
Phoebe added, “I love him [Daphne’s] elderly history and their sexual awakening. I love seeing her feminine looks and seeing her figure it out for herself. It’s a late blossom, but it’s not like you can search for it on Google.

Great break: The 25-year-old actress, whose mother is Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor, has been acting for ten years, but Bridgerton is her most important role to date
Daphne, the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family, is presented as “perfectly beautiful” and is known as “impeccable” when she meets Queen Charlotte, played by Golda Rosheuvel.
The show sees its debut at Regency London’s competitive wedding market, where Regé-Jean’s character, Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, is the catch of the season.
Despite proclaiming that they don’t want anything the other can offer, the attraction between Simon and Daphne is undeniable and the sparks fly as they engage in a battle of ingenuity as they navigate society’s expectations about their future.
Febe accredits an excellent makeup artist and good lighting to carry out a seven-month shoot, often with six-day weeks and night shoots.

However, at times the pressure took its toll, with Phoebe revealing that she had a “full-blown panic attack” during a scene.

She said: “There’s a scene in an episode where Daphne goes down the stairs and everyone stares at her.
This was one of the hardest scenes to shoot. Everyone has days when they wake up and feel shit and don’t want to see people, let alone be on camera.
“One of those days passed and I felt out of my comfort zone. Basically, I had a complete panic attack. ”
Phoebe has performed for more than a decade with roles on Waterloo Road and in front of Guy Ritchie’s TV adaptation of Snatch: “It was a bit of a boys’ club,” he says.
He has also appeared in Darren Star’s creation, Younger. However, Bridgerton is his most important role to date.
Speaking of the possibility that she is now identifiable to millions of Netflix viewers, Phoebe said she is ready, but not necessarily delighted.

Romance? Although they say they are not interested in each other, sparks soon appear between the characters of Phoebe and Regé-Jean
“There’s a potential threat in fame,” he says after considering it. I don’t like the idea. But I am very proud of what Bridgerton stands for. I can’t think of anything else that I want people to know about me. “
Luckily, she has a solid role model in her mother, actor Sally Dynevor. Having played Sally Metcalfe on Coronation Street since 1986, she has been sent to millions of homes three nights a week for nearly 35 years.
When asked if she understood her mother’s fame, Phoebe said, “She was just my mother. She has always taken it easy and been very cold, grateful and humble. Gratitude is the most important thing.”
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror before the Bridgerton release, Sally shared her excitement to see her daughter on the site of the streaming giant.
She said, “I just want to say I’m very proud of Phoebe and, as a family, we’re very excited to see Bridgerton on Christmas Day.”
