The Professional Baseball League of the Dominican Republic (Lidom) unveiled this schedule for the semifinal series round of the 2020-2021 Winter Ball Championship which is played in the BHD Leon Cup and the representation in the Caribbean Series.
The semifinals of the contest, which are dedicated to the memory of don José Manuel Fernández, they start this Saturday, January 2, with duels in San Francisco de Macorís and Santiago de los Caballeros, at 5:00 and 6:00 pm, respectively, and culminate, if they go to the maximum, the new one of the same month .
Three matches will be played on a regular basis from January 2 to day 4, with day 5 as the free date and then another four online duels, three of them if necessary.
At the Julián Javier Stadium in San Francisco, the Oriental Stars (15-15), fourth in the standings, visit the Cibao Giants (16-14), who arrived first and at the Cibao Stadium in Santiago, the bulls of the East (16-14), third, are measured in the Eagles Cibaeñas (16-14), that were the second.
The schedule, as previously announced, provides for two agreed-upon series of the best of seven home-to-home matches, pitting the first against the fourth and the second versus the third.
