Monster Hunter Rise will be torn apart, right?

Here’s another quick look

I try to think about the last time I was so excited for one Monster Hunter game.

Don’t get me wrong! It was a blast waiting World Cup, to see how Capcom incorporated the series into the current generation. But Go up it feels different. It feels like an evolution in some way, especially with the varied terrain and the addition of companion dog Palamute; but it’s also the simplicity of being on a platform (which makes it very easy to team up with people, as everyone is on the same page).

This feeling is probably best shown in this quick 30-second commercial clip. You get the essence of the new environment (with hunters literally looking at the world at the beginning of the video, as well as the thrill of fighting and running down a mountain), the sympathy of the dogs, a brief joke of formidable new enemies; it’s all there.

Ah, he has amiibo too. This might help him appear on my list of my most anticipated games of 2021. I can’t escape control of these little things.
