ORLANDO, Florida (KABC) – Universal Orlando Resort tweeted that it reached its capacity just 10 minutes after opening Wednesday as well as Tuesday.
Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure reached capacity shortly after 8 a.m. and stopped admitting new guests. The parks also reached capacity shortly after opening on Tuesday. Customers were asked to check it before going to the parks.
Health officials are monitoring the size of people because of COVID-19.
They say Florida has a positivity rate of over 26%.
This means that more than one in four coronavirus tests turns positive.
But public health experts say there is no evidence that COVID-19 outbreaks have been linked to any theme parks.
The resort tweeted that it started admitting new guests in the early afternoon.
