Anji Mito is releasing the game trailer for Guilty Gear Strive

The abs return to the city

It’s time to sound like the new year and with it comes Anji Mito’s birthday on January 1st, which of course makes it the perfect time to celebrate the world of Guilty Gear a bit.

Arc System Works certainly agreed considering they have now released the Anji game trailer as it will appear on Guilty Gear Strive with all the crunches and fans you could expect at these parties.

It first appeared 20 years ago with the release of GGX, Mito struggles with its Zessen fans and traditional Japanese dance steps that seem to return completely to Strive.

As one of the few Japanese left in the world, Anji is a man wanted to flee the colonies where they were placed and steal the Zessen, which is one of the sacred treasures like the swords of Sun and Ky.

Those who have recently played Accent Core again will probably notice a full review of Anji’s animations, which isn’t surprising considering it’s his first time fighting in the three-dimensional realm.

Most of his attacks seem to be intact, though, as we can see his Fuujin special several times, though we only see what he seems to be tracking right now.

A very absent move at the moment is his stepping on Kai, which provided him with a lot of pressure and mixing scenarios, so it would be a shame not to return to Strive.

Anji also obviously maintains his butterfly projectile and overall aesthetic, because he really wouldn’t be him without the Guard Point counter mechanic, who is also seen sometimes.

Guilty Gear Strive is scheduled to be released worldwide on April 9, 2021 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, although players can access the Deluxe / Ultimate Edition a few days in advance.

While there are no characters proving / revealing the identity of the final member of the Strive list, ArcSys finally confirms that the next announcement will arrive in February 2021. You can check out the new trailer below.
