The Arizona Cardinals added safety Budda Baker to Thursday’s injury report, with Baker getting a limited designation due to a neck injury.

The timing is not ideal for the Cardinals, as security Chris Banjo was included on the COVID-19 reserve list on Thursday. This leaves Jalen Thompson, Deionte Thompson and Charles Washington as the other three guarantees on the active list.

Jalen Thompson has fully exercised on both Wednesday and Thursday, and is scheduled to return for the first time since week 11 due to an ankle injury.

Elsewhere, the DeAndre Hopkins wide receiver was upgraded from DNP to limited as it works through a hip problem. The same update came for defender Haason Reddick (hip) and for Maxx Williams (ankle).

Runner Chase Edmonds (hip), wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (groin) and closed-back Darrell Daniels (hamstring) did not practice for the second day in a row.

For the Los Angeles Branches, runner Cam Akers did not participate Wednesday and Thursday due to an ankle injury. Aaron Donald practiced completely Thursday after disappearing Wednesday for reasons unrelated to injury.
