MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The first Twin Cities baby of 2021 was born shortly after the clock arrived at midnight.
M Health Fairview St. John’s, in Maplewood, welcomed John Robert Hennessey at 12:27 p.m. It weighs 6 pounds and 11 ounces.

“She looks like a relaxed, laid-back girl,” said her mother, Melissa Hennessey. “We are delighted to have a small sleeping pill to take home to our family. I think we all look forward to the new year with a sense of peace and calm, and so far little John has shown us this reassuring presence. ”
Melissa and her husband Chris Hennessey chose to put their son John by Melissa’s great-grandfather, John J. McDonough. He was ex-mayor of San Pablo.

John Hennessey is the fifth child of Melissa and Chris. He was born about three weeks before the due date after a 35-hour birth.
