Xbox Series X has picked up another great exclusive game, or more specifically, another great and upcoming game has been confirmed as exclusive to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. Last July the developer was finally revealed GSC Game World Stalker 2 during the Xbox Games Showcase. At the time, the game was announced for PC and Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S, but it was unclear whether the game would be exclusive to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. That said, it turns out it will be.
On Twitter, a GSC Game World developer confirmed that the game has just hit PC and Xbox Series X when a fan was asked about the PS5 version of the game. At this time, it is unclear whether the exclusivity of this console is permanent or timed. Normally, third-party exclusives like this are timed instead of permanent, but for now, this detail of exclusivity has not been fully confirmed.
Unfortunately, although the developer provided some specific details about the platform, it did not provide any details about the release date, which means that the game does not yet have a release date. In fact, it currently doesn’t even have a launch window.

PC and Xbox Series X / S only– Цукорович 🔩 (@ Caxap91) December 30, 2020
While PS5 may not get Stalker 2, at least not at launch, it does have its own big exclusives on the net and, for most measures, the best range of exclusive titles, which includes Horizon Forbidden West, Final Fantasy 16, Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart, and a new one God of war. Compared to some of these titles, Stalker 2 it may not seem very substantial, but not only is the first game a cult classic, but it’s a long-awaited sequel and is more notable than many of the exclusives coming out of Xbox Game Studios.
