Nowitzki hated the Heat of LeBron, Wade and Bosh

Puerto Rican baseman Jose Juan Barea revealed interiors in the 2011 Finals, where his now-former Dallas Mavericks outscored LeBron James and company in the Miami Heat in six games.

Barea talked about this and more topics, during a review of his career on the New Orleans Pelicans escort podcast, JJ Redick, alongside Tommy Alter.

“It was awesome to see how he prepared for this year. He (Dirk Nowitzki) won’t say it, but he hated the Heat, LeBron, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh,” Barea expressed.

“I couldn’t stand them. He’s not into talking much, he leads by example. But this year in particular, in downtime and first halves, he always carried the singing voice,” he added.

Prior to the fourth game of the 2011 Final, with a 2-1 advantage, a video came out in the public light of LeBron and Wade mocking a cold from Nowitzki. They paid dearly as the Mavericks won the next 3 duels, winning the first title in their history as an organization.

“When LeBron and Wade made fun of him, it hurt a lot. He’ll never say it, but he saw the video and it bothered him. That was the ‘extra’ he needed to further raise his level and finish the series, “he said. The German pivot wing culminated in winning the most valuable player in the Final.

Barea was one of the key players in that ‘station’ rotation composed of Jason Kidd and Jason Terry, among others. The Mavericks announced a few weeks ago that they were breaking up with the boricua after 11 seasons in Dallas. Barea is still waiting for an offer for an NBA team, but did not arrive, he assured he would like to see action abroad and even in the National Superior Basketball League of Puerto Rico (BSN).
