New York. — The rugged U.S. election process is set to end this week.
On Tuesday 5, in a run-off election, they will elect senators from Georgia, Democrats need two seats to control the Senate, Republicans only need to win one.
On Wednesday six Congress must count and ratify the electoral votes to officially proclaim the president-elect.
Around Wednesday there are tensions because President Donald Trump said on twitter, “Never give up. I’ll see you all in DC on January 6th.”
Vice President Mike Pence will preside over Congress, some lawmakers loyal to Trump could call for the annulment of electoral votes to, in fact and right, annul the election. Pence has two options: cancel the election to “save democracy”; or legitimize the “fraud” you have reported.
The future of American democracy will be decided on Wednesday and it will all depend on Pence’s decision.
