Beloved actress Tanya Roberts is still alive, her representative has revealed a few hours after he and her husband announced she had died.

Representative Mike Pingel issued a press release Sunday saying Roberts, best known for appearing alongside Roger Moore in the 1985 Bond film A View To Kill, had died on Saturday at the age of 65. .

Pingel said Roberts was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Christmas night after collapsing at her home in Hollywood Hills.

The rep said she had learned the tragic news of Roberts’ death from her husband Lance O’Brien, who claimed he visited her in the hospital before it happened.

“While I had her in her last moments, she opened her eyes. I could see her beautiful eyes for the last time. Tanya had the most beautiful eyes,” O’Brien told TMZ.

But on Monday, with a bizarre twist, Pingel told the newspaper that the hospital called O’Brien just after ten in the morning and informed him that his wife was still alive.

TMZ said it learned from several sources close to the family who claimed O’Brien called them with the news of Roberts’ death on Sunday.

The outlet had originally reported that Roberts collapsed after returning home from walking his dog on Dec. 24.

She was rushed to a hospital and placed on a ventilator, but “never got better,” Pingel said, adding that her “death” was unrelated to COVID-19.

Prior to his collapse, experts reported that Roberts looked “perfectly healthy” and that he participated in video chats with his fans.

In his original statement to TMZ, O’Brien said he had not been allowed to visit his wife at the hospital due to coronavirus protocols, but that staff made an exception when his condition worsened on Saturday.

O’Brien’s statement suggested he was with Roberts when she died, but apparently it wasn’t.

It’s unclear when O’Brien and Roberts tied the knot, but reports indicate the couple lived together at their home in Hollywood Hills.

Public records indicate that it was the same house that Robert shared with her first husband, screenwriter Barry Roberts, who died in 2006. Tanya and Barry had been married for 32 years and had no children.
