The President of the People’s Women’s Organization (WMO), There is Skerret, Died after experiencing complications from COVID-19, the vice-president of the OMP reported today, Tuesday, Ada Álvarez Conde.
Skerret remained hospitalized for several weeks for the disease.
“We confirm with deep sadness the message of Giovanni García, son of Ada Skerrett, on the death of our president“, Álvarez Conde expressed in a post on Facebook.
“The OMP joins in the grief of the family and anyone who has been touched by Ada,” he added.
Immediately, different popular leaders reacted and mourned Skerret’s death.
“I deeply regret the loss of a great warrior Ada Skerret. She was a great friend detached and ready to help. The People’s Party loses one of the great fighters for the ideal of PA-LAND AND FREEDOM. I love you Ada.” , commented the former mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulín Cruz Soto Soto.
