To be able to win this unique prize, you must send a screenshot of your Pokémon Go avatar via Twitter (don’t forget to use the tag #PokemonGOTourContest), as well as the three worlds of your dream battle team (only non-legendary or mythical Kanto creatures).

If you’ve ever played one of the main Pokémon games in the series, you know how exciting it can be to see another trainer during your journey. There’s nothing like testing your own Pokémon against someone else’s and it’s always fun to see how each trainer expresses himself with his team. Today we are pleased to announce that you will soon be able to have this experience on Pokémon GO, and that you may become one of the new coaching characters in the game.
Characters from the event’s exclusive trainer will appear on the map during Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto
During the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto event, you will see the trainer’s characters on the game map. You will be able to find and fight these trainer characters, regardless of whether you have a ticket for the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto event. There will even be special temporary investigations that will reward you for fighting these coaches. We hope that meeting these trainers on your Pokémon journey and engaging them in battle will help you recreate the original game experiences of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green.
Who will these coaches be, exactly? Well, one of them could be you!
How to Become a Prominent Trainer Character During Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto
We will be holding a competition to decide which coaches will appear as game characters during the event. To enter, simply post your entry on Twitter before Monday, January 11, 2021 at 23:59 pm PST (GMT −8) and include the following.
1. A screenshot of your coach profile that includes your coach name and shows your avatar’s outfit. 2. A list of three Pokémon that would make up your team. These Pokémon must be among those originally discovered in the Kanto region and may not include Ditto or any legendary or mythical Pokémon. 3. The hashtag #PokemonGOTourContest.
We will judge your tickets according to the following criteria.
+ Creativity of the avatar costume
+ General theme
+ Composition of the Pokémon teamTry to give yourself a topic, such as a fresh and dynamic Electric trainer or a fluid and powerful Water trainer. Maybe you want to prove that you are in Team Instinct, Team Mystic or Team Valor? The possibilities are endless: this is your chance to leave your mark on Pokémon GO, so have fun with your coach character design.
