Creepy CCTV footage shows flight attendant Christine Angelica Dacera kissing a man in the hallway of a luxury hotel in the Philippines, before she was found dead in the empty bathtub of her room.
The 23-year-old was captured at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City while partying on New Year’s Eve, GMA News reported.
She was shown barefoot and holding a glass of wine with at least three men as they moved between rooms and also kissing a man in shorts and a back-facing baseball cap.
Hours later, the Philippine flight operator was found unconscious in her room and was soon pronounced dead at a local hospital after being rushed by friends and hotel staff.
Makati city police said there were indications she had been raped and on Monday filed a provisional charge of rape with murder against the 11 men who had partyed with her.
But prosecutors on Wednesday released the only three detainees so far, and insisted investigators had not shown she had been “sexually assaulted or raped,” and if so, by which of the 11 men charged.
Nor was it proven what caused his death, prosecutors said, with a first autopsy saying he died of a “broken aortic aneurysm.”
However, police and a lawyer for the Dacera family have suggested that the aneurysm was the result of his assault.
One of the defendants, Gregorio de Guzma, son of well-known Filipino singer Claire dela Fuente, reported that there was a gang rape, and insisted that most of the men were gay.
“How did it become a rape? I’m gay. I’ve never had sex with any woman in my life, ”Guzman told ABS-CBN TV, saying up to eight of the 11 were“ probably gay like us ”.
He insisted he only remembered that Dacera was “happy” at the party and did CPR the next morning after discovering her unconscious in the bathtub of his room at the City Garden Grand Hotel.
