It is a feature first introduced in robovacs of companies like iRobot and Shark, but LG has just unveiled a wireless vacuum cleaner with a charging station that automatically empties the ground container as long as it’s coupled, giving you one less excuse to deal with all the crumbs that fall to the floor during your daily attempts to get off the couch.
Despite a strong name, the new LG CordZeroThinQ A9 Kompressor + cordless vacuum cleaner is another lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner that makes occasional floor cleaning and occasional cleaning less cumbersome, but even with two interchangeable batteries included it’s not likely than being able to clean the floors of an entire house in one step. It’s the only commitment to going wireless, but at least LG now offers a consolation prize.
The vacuum docking station should make it easy to load the LG CordZeroThinQ A9 Kompressor + computer without having to get any cables, but when it docks, the stand sucks up all the dirt and debris from the computer. Vaccine: A convenience that anyone with a cloud of dust that escapes while emptying Dyson cordless vacuum cleaners will appreciate. Dirt is collected in a larger dust bag that needs to be emptied sporadically or replaced completely; LG has not specified whether the system needs a constant supply of new bags.
What’s true, though, is that the docking station isn’t exactly small, and despite the marketing materials, you probably don’t want it to be in sight of your living room. In addition to the dust collection system, it also stores a lot of nozzles and additional cleaning accessories for the wireless vacuum, so they don’t end up disappearing into a utility closet or drawer. The LG CordZeroThinQ A9 Kompressor + may also make the floor shine, as it includes a built-in water tank and an interchangeable Power Mop accessory with a pair of microfiber pads that can be used to scrub wood floors.
As vacuums are made, the LG CordZeroThinQ A9 Kompressor + offers more features and functionality than any of the competition, but that’s probably also why LG has yet to reveal price details. With the charging station, extra battery, and cleaning features, this vacuum will probably come with a price that pushes a thousand dollars, but really, a price can be made for not having to empty a small dust container every day. ?
