According to reports, the Apple Glass prototype enters the second phase of production

New supply chain reports say a “Apple Glass” prototype is in the second phase of production, following recent rumors about a 2021 version of the AR device.

By backing up analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s report that “Apple Glass” will be released in 2021, a new statement says it has passed a first stage of production.

“Apple is about to enter the second phase of development of its AR glasses prototype,” he says Digitimes in a report, “according to industry sources.”

There is no detail of what this second phase represents or how many phases are expected. Still, it suggests that “Apple Glass” is moving toward a commercial version.

Earlier, Ming-Chi Kuo expected “Apple Glass” to be released in 2022 as soon as possible. His latest report advances this to 2021, which relates to Jon Prosser’s claims.

In addition to predicting a launch between the March and June 2021 launch, Prosser has previously said that “Apple Glass” will sell for $ 499. This cost would be for a version without graduated lenses and possibly for a plastic frame.
