Star Wars stunner Billie Lourd talked about motherhood, her favorite book written by her late mother Carrie Fisher and more in a Radio Andy interview that aired in its entirety this Friday at 1 p.m. EST .
The 28-year-old new mother was on the embers no more and no less than her stepfather Bruce Bozzi, who married CAA father co-chair Bryan Lourd in 2016 when she was 14 years old.
Billie surprised everyone on September 24 by announcing the birth of her son Kingston Fisher three months after announcing her engagement to fiancé Austen Rydell.

The whole family: The 28-year-old new mother was grilled by her stepfather Bruce Bozzi (L), who in 2016 married her father, CAA President Bryan Lourd (2-L), when he was 14 years old.
“Technically he’s not a quarantined baby,” Lourd said on the SiriusXM program in quarantine with Bruce.
And I want to make it known because a lot of people are having fashionable quarantine babies that Kingston was conceived before quarantine. So technically it’s just a Caribbean baby.
The Los Angeles native described the coronavirus pandemic as a “disguised blessing” because she had the news on her own.
“Only my family knew it and no one knew it, as everyone was so surprised when we posted that little photo of their feet,” Billie told the 54-year-old vice president of Palm Restaurant Group.

Lourd said on the SiriusXM program in quarantine with Bruce: “I want to make it known because a lot of people are having fashionable quarantine babies that Kingston was conceived before quarantine. So technically it’s just a Caribbean baby.”

“She did the breastfeeding class, she did the positive part class. So she was with me every step of the way. And we became closer friends, even better partners. And I think she prepared us for being the best parents and right now he’s sitting with the baby. And he’s, as you know, the best father in the world. And I think that’s partly because we need to have that experience together. ”

Lourd marveled at the 1994 volume: “It’s structured with letters for me while she’s pregnant with me. I have to reread it now that I’ve had a baby, I think it would be a totally different experience and so amazing.”
Billie also revealed her first three books written by her late mother: Surrender the Pink (about her marriage to Paul Simon), Postcards from the Edge, and Delusions of Grandma.
“It’s so amazing and it’s structured with letters for me while she’s pregnant with me,” Lourd marveled at the 1994 volume.
“I have to reread it now that I’ve had a baby, I think it would be a totally different experience and so amazing. But they were supposed to call me Esme, which thank God wasn’t, I’m sorry for anyone called Esme “It’s a beautiful name, but I prefer Billie. It’s super, super sweet and great.”
Sadly, Fisher died at the age of 60 in 2016 from sleep apnea and drugs and the next day his famous grandmother Debbie Reynolds, aged 84, died of a stroke.
