Nvidia has released its first new game of graphics controllers for 2021 and no, they do not bring big performance boosts to the new more attractive games or worsen another old game with a ray tracker. No, 461.09 drivers focus on unglamorous but important security solutions. Although if you like to see exactly your frame rate in Windows Mail, these drivers have a disappointing twist for you.
The Nvidia security bulletin lists the vulnerabilities fixed, up to 16 issues reaching a rating of 8.4 in the Common Vulnerability Scoring System. Sounds like a 7, wahey.
The new drivers also fix some issues, including the GeForce Experience FPS counter shown in Windows Calendar and Mail applications. Was that a mistake? Dude, I won’t spend six million quid on a 3090 if you don’t tell me how fast FWD: FWD: FWD: my aunt’s emails show. The Calendar benchmark has been the foundation of my forum signing since 2006.
