Ariel Pink has been abandoned by her Mexican Summer label. The label tweeted that “it has decided to end [its] working relationship ”with the artist“ advancing ”. On January 7, it was reported that Ariel Pink was attending a pro-Trump rally that took place on the lawn of the White House on January 6, shortly before hundreds of insurgents, some of them armed, had access to the United States Capitol building.
Pink confirmed her attendance at the rally, writing on Twitter: “I was in DC to peacefully show my support for the president … I attended the rally on the white house lawn and went back to the hotel and went take a nap. case closed. ” He has said he was not part of the crowd that stormed the Capitol.
