It is rumored that the iPhone 13 includes a “thinner” notch, the overall design does not change

The height and width of the four ‌iphone‌ models are expected to be the same, but the thickness may increase by approximately 0.26 mm.

The rear camera unit is expected to increase by 0.9 mm in all models of the iPhone 13 and and Apple will change to a design that “covers the entire camera unit with sapphire crystal.” The lenses are expected to stand out less in a design more similar to the iPad Pro 2020, which has thick camera protection but less protrusion in terms of lens design.

Mac Otakara believes the ‌iphone 13‌ Pro could include optical image change sensor stabilization, a feature Apple included in the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

As for the front of the iPhone 13, the site suggests that the TrueDepth camera “narrows” because the receiver at the top of the screen will scroll to the edge of the case. This suggests that the oscillation of the next-generation iPhone could be a little thinner.

This is the second time we have heard rumors about a thinner or deeper notch, so it is possible that the 21iPhone‌ 2021 models have a notch of the same length but not as high.

Other rumors about the iPhone 13 have have suggested that we might see some models getting compatible LTPO OLED screens for 120Hz update dates and of course there will be a faster A15 chip. We have more information on what to expect from the iPhone 13 in our dedicated summary.
