Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC have their first new games in 2021. Today, Microsoft announced three new games joining the Game Pass library : Injustice 2, The Little Acre, i eFootball PES 2021. Unfortunately, right now, this is the extent of the new additions, and depending on the platform or subscription level you are on, all three may not even be playable.
The first of three games, Injustice 2, is available on both the console and the computer. This means that on either Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or PC, you can now start playing through Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate. Meanwhile, the other two games are only added to the console version of the subscription service.
At the time of publication, it is unclear how long any of the three games will be added. Microsoft never discloses this information and this time is no exception. None of the three games get in the way of Xbox Game Studios, which means none of them should be a permanent addition. In other words, if someone tickles you, be sure to check them out sooner rather than later.
PES 2021 is a notable addition for those who like some football simulation, but for other subscribers, Injustice 2 is probably the most notable game of this trio. What’s interesting about its incorporation is that it’s several years old at the moment, which is why some industry fans think this could be a clue that Injustice 3 the ad is just around the corner. That said, right now, this is just observational speculation.
