Bernie Sanders turned down an offer from Joe Biden to be Secretary of the Department of Labor

President-elect Joe Biden reported that he was seriously considering appointing Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders as Secretary of the Department of Labor, but agreed that the appointment would jeopardize Democratic control of the U.S. Senate. Units.
