Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game is a good example of software that suffered from being an exclusive digital version. Back on PlayStation 3, the title was withdrawn from sale after the license expired, which means you won’t be able to buy it for several years. The good news is that it will return to PS4 in a matter of days, but if you want to make sure you always have access, Limited Run offers you a few options.
While, of course, you’ll be able to capture the game digitally from the PS Store, the aforementioned company hasn’t created one, or two, but three physical editions of the fan favorite.
The standard edition includes exclusive reversible artwork: One Face is a brilliant illustration of Sonic Adventure Scott Pilgrim the same artist Bryan Lee O’Malley. It also includes a ticket to the Clash at Demonhead concert and a full-color instruction booklet (remember?). It sells for $ 34.99.
The following is the classic edition. It includes everything in the standard version, plus a Mega Drive-style game cover (also with reversible illustrations), a sticker set, a physical CD soundtrack, and a world map. This edition will give you back $ 54.99.
Finally, we have the KO edition. This final version of the game offers you everything in the classic edition, plus a hardcover case with “working lights and sound”, a hardcover guide, the CD soundtrack and cassette, some wooden drumsticks, a trio of Bob-omb Guitar Sex Picks, an enamel pin and trading cards. Obviously, it’s the most expensive of the lot, it goes for $ 139.99.
All three editions are set to pre-order within a week, on January 15, 2021 at 10.00 EST (7:00 PST or 15:00 GMT). You will have six weeks to secure your purchase.
So here you have it. Grab one and you won’t have to worry about any digital mess. Want to book a physical version of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game? Level up in the comments section below.
