Sword and Shield Pokémon organizes a new Max Raid event with more chances of finding a Galar Pokémon. Rather today Sword and Shield PokémonThe Max Raid battles were changed for a new Wild Area event: Get Cheeky with Skwovet and Greedent. As its name suggests, the event focuses on the Pokémon Galar Skwovet and Greedent and is more likely to find a bright Skwovet or a bright Greyent. Two percent of all 5-star raids have a bright Skwovet as the attack leader, while another two percent of five-star raids have Shiny Greedent as the attack leader. Like other raid events, players will not know if they encounter a bright raid boss until the raid has begun. Other Pokémon involved in the event include Cherubi, Morelull, Shiinotec, Foongus and Amoonguss. Appearance rates appear to be the same for both Pokémon games.
The new Wild Area event is the last event most likely to find a bright Pokémon. Players typically have less than 1 in 4000 chances of finding a bright Pokémon, which has an alternate coloration to a normal Pokémon, although they can increase these odds significantly through various tricks in the game. Raid events, like this weekend’s event, offer players a slim chance to increase their chances of finding that rare glowing Pokémon.
A Shiny Skwovet has a reddish coat compared to its non-shiny gray skin counterpart, while a Greedent Shed has a cream-colored coat that covers most of the body. Below you can find comparisons between non-bright and bright Pokémon.
While Sword and Shield Pokémon you’ve probably just finished posting new content, we can look forward to regular events like this weekend’s Max Raid event. With the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise this year, we are likely to have a great year of news and new games. In addition to what has already been announced Pokémon Snap, Detective Pikachu 2, and the Pokémon Unite MOBA, many fans are also expecting a new Pokémon game, probably a remake of either Gold and Silver Pokémon or Diamond and Pearl Pokémon.
The Max Raid event runs from today until Sunday, January 10 at 23:59 UTC (18:59 ET).
