Trump supporters clashed with a small group of people wearing black and carrying a flag depicting Antifa symbols, local television station KSWB reported.
Police sent riot gear on Pacific Beach Boardwalk to quell the riots. Videos in the scene show members of both groups pushing and yelling at each other and a person dressed in black spraying a chemical irritant against another person. Several people are also seen throwing bottles or other objects during melee.

Some Trump supporters have blamed the violence on the Antifa Capitol, a claim that federal police officers fired late last week.
Several Trump supporters were arrested over the weekend in connection with Wednesday’s riots.
San Diego police have not announced any arrests following Saturday’s crash.
“We will continue to monitor both groups to help facilitate peaceful protests. However, we will not tolerate acts of violence,” the department said in a statement. “When rocks, bottles, pepper spray and other objects are thrown or used on our officers, action will be taken against those who commit violent acts.”
