It’s been about a year and a half since season 3 of Stranger Things hit Netflix, and fans have been waiting to learn more details of the new installments. With Hopper apparently dead, the Russians plotting a new plan and the Byers and Eleven leaving Hawkins, the last season left many questions in the air. The wait seems to be over, as the release date for the fourth season has apparently leaked.
The Netflix Updates Twitter account has shared what appears to be a screenshot of a Netflix summary page, which reveals when the new chapters will arrive.
According to this information, the season will launch on August 21st. It should be noted that this is not an official source of the company, which so far has not confirmed or denied the date.

Production for Season 4 of Stranger Things resumed in mid-September 2020 after the shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. During the break, the writers completed the script for the chapters.
While the details of the plot are not known, several details have been revealed thanks to the photos of the shooting. Lucas will have a job at a Japanese-themed restaurant at Starcourt Mall, and it has already been confirmed that Sheriff Hopper survived his apparent death in season 3 and is now locked up in a Russian prison camp. It has also been revealed that there will be new characters.
Actors Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn, Robert Englund, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Nikola Djuricko and Tom Wlaschiha have joined the cast of fiction.
