It was the match that would have all the focus of the cameras on this Sunday at NBA, But with stars everywhere, it was two controversial plays that ignited the duel between Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers. The main characters? DeMarcus Cousins, LeBron James and Markieff Morris.
Cousins had just been sent off last Monday with just three minutes of play and in the duel against the Lakers they only had to pass 8 for the same story to happen. The first controversy came because DeMarcus wanted to defend a Rockets teammate who fell to the ground after a play action with Morris.
Cousins’ reaction was to push Morris and with the force of action Markieff ended up on the floor. Immediately, the Lakers player stood up and confronted DeMarcus with another push. If it weren’t for the fact that they were separated, an NBA-style fight would have been witnessed in the pain of the Toyota Center.

DeMarcus Cousins ’handshake in LeBron James’ face
We know that stopping Lebron James when he gets into the paint is one of the hardest things in the NBA, but DeMarcus Cousins was turned off again and in the attempt to stop the Los Angeles Lakers star gave a slap in the face to the ‘ ‘King’.
Cousins ended up being kicked out of the game between Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers for the two unsportsmanlike actions he had against Markieff Morris and Lebron James. Literally, DeMarcus wanted to finish off the California team in just eight minutes of play.
