Much has changed for Lora DiCarlo since CES 2019, when the Consumer Technology Association withdrew its innovative sex toy Osé a well-deserved CES award for innovation. Not only it sucks CES now, Lora DiCarlo also announces a new product line for CES 2021, fully virtual.
This year, Lora DiCarlo is launching three ergonomic sex toys that incorporate “advanced thermally conductive plastics”. In other words, these toys are heated to simulate body temperature and heated massage devices so you can increase your circulation, relieve muscle tension, and “increase overall sexual pleasure”.
The three toys, called Drift, Tilt and Sway, feature a new conductive nylon thermal polymer that provides 15-20 times better fast and consistent internal heating than traditional plastics used for sex toys. The Drift is a hand bullet, while the Tilt is thought to be a double stimulation vibration by P-spot / G-spot plug. All are for sale at Lora DiCarlo’s website, with Drift retailing for $ 95, Tilt for $ 140 and Sway for $ 150.
“2020 was a year of incredible learning and growth for us, along with the world at large,” Lora Haddock DiCarlo, the company’s founder and CEO, said in a statement. “We rely heavily on the data and are very pleased with the customer response to our current product line, including the newly evolved Osé 2 to meet the needs of various body types. Our new hotline offers even more innovative options that stay true to our mission to create sexual positivity and foster sexual well-being and exploration between the sexes. “

The pandemic has been a good time for sexual technology. A Juniper Research one study found that last year there was an 87% increase in sex toy sales, which honestly makes sense given that blockchains have forced people to be more creative with their love life. Lora DiCarlo says she has sold sex toys worth $ 7.5 million a year since Osé was launched, and that her toys are already available in 37 countries. Oh, and now the actress Cara Delevingne is counting as co-owner and creative advisor.
While Lora DiCarlo isn’t the only sex technology company out there, she’s the most CES-related, largely due to this lawsuit in 2019. Although the CTA initially doubled its prudent reasoning to take the prize from Lora DiCarlo, he later backed down. Last year the CTA was introduced a “pilot year” for sex technology exhibitors and Lora DiCarlo had a front, center booth on the showroom floor. (That said, the CTA enacted a dress code for these exhibitors despite allowing scarce dressed booths for a few years, and not all sexual technology companies were given the same treatment.) Given that CES 2021 is fully digital due to the pandemic, and the inclusion of sexual technology has not occurred this year, it is good to see Lora DiCarlo maintain her presence on the show.
