Developer Giulio Zompetti, who often shows prototype versions of Apple devices, today highlighted a prototype version of the iPhone 12 Pro.
The honeiphone 12 Pro is running an operating system called SwitchBoard, a version that does not use the UI of the iOS 14 update that Apple uses internally. We’ve already seen SwitchBoard on prototype devices, as Apple uses it to test new features.
The Zompetti iPhone prototype is in peaceful blue, which was one of the most popular colors of the iPhone 12 Pro. Given the lighting in the photo, the color looks especially dark, but probably has the same hue as the final version that was released.
It looks like the phone doesn’t have visible prints either, which is probably not a surprise like an earlier trial, but it looks like it’s similar to the “iPhone 12 Pro” that was released in October.
In the past, Zompetti has shared prototype versions of the original Apple Watch and third-generation iPod touch.
