The Capitol also paid no water and owes nearly $ 830,000 to the AAA

The debt that the Capitol has for services that were not paid in the last four years is millionaire. The Aqueduct and Sewerage Authority (AAA) alone owes $ 829,412.90 corresponding to the water service.

This was revealed on Thursday by the President of the House of Representatives, Rafael “Tatito” Hernández Montañez, who also noted that the debt to be paid to the Electricity Authority (AEE) is $ 2,897,492.20.

Hernández Montañez has stated that he did not have the budget to pay off all the debt, he asked the AAA and AEE to establish an ordinary payment plan from July onwards that includes the payment of the debt and thus not stay -se without both services for a cut.

“Our concern was negative news that we started work in the Legislative Assembly and the water and electricity are cut off. That was not acceptable,” he added.

He explained that “the Electricity Authority notified us that no payments were actually issued in the last four years,” he noted.
