Would Matt Canada choose the Dolphins over the Steelers?

With the news on Thursday that the Pittsburgh Steelers were not renewing the contract of offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner, attention is now turning to who will be his replacement. We sketched out some possible replacements and the head of the roster was Pittsburgh current quarterbacks coach Matt Canada.

There is also news that Canada is on the radar of the Miami Dolphins to be their next offensive coordinator.

This means Canada could have a decision to make between the Steelers and Dolphins for their big promotion. If we connect the dots and look at it from that perspective, what would make Canada select the Steelers over the Dolphins?

I guess in the first place it would be tradition and loyalty. The Steelers led Canada last season to be the team’s quarterback coach in hopes of injecting their creative offensive philosophies into the University of Maryland Steelers ’offensive.

But beyond that, I don’t see where the Steelers ’work is most appealing. Unless Canada expects the challenge of a minimum of two years of rebuilding with more questions than answers to the quarterback. The Dolphins have had a big change this season and have their young quarterback in place and are already well rebuilt.

But I want to get the question to you. If Canada can choose both jobs, which one do you think it will take on? Let us know in the comments.
