Governor Pedro Pierluisi Urrutia spoke this Friday about what was discussed at the meeting of the Board of Fiscal Control (JCF) where he said he had presented his decision to participate as an active member of the other meetings to come.
“It was a very productive discussion in which I was able to establish an effective and frank working relationship, and reiterate government priorities,” Pierluisi expounded.
According to him, the approaches he exposed to the members of the JCF were the rejection of the cut in pensions, “as well as the need for our municipalities and the UPR to have the resources they need.”
The governor would also have expressed that it is important to invest in the public service “to have a functional government”.
“As governor I will continue to participate in the meetings and public hearings that the Board has,” he concluded.
