About five months after its release, new images were revealed on Saturday of what will be the sequel to Space Jam 2: A New Legacy, starring Los Angeles Lakers star player Lebron James.
In the photos, which James himself later shared during the day, can be seen in the future Hall of Fame in the background, alongside the co-star of the film, the famous cartoon cartoon Bugs Bunny. “We’re there! In just months. I’m so excited about this project. I can’t wait any longer,” James wrote.
James also unveiled the new Tune Squad uniform in August. The bib, turquoise blue and orange, features the legendary ‘Looney Tunes’ logo. He also confirms that the former member of the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers, will use the number ‘6’.
Space Jam 2 is scheduled for release on July 16, 2021 by Warner Bros., almost 25 years after the original starring Michael Jordan.
