Dwayne Johnson shares the first trailer for Young Rock

Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock is one of the most famous people in the world with a vast career that began with wrestling and became one of Hollywood’s greatest hits. A lot of people know how The Rock started, but now the star is taking a much closer look at people producing a new sitcom called Rock young. Yesterday we learned that the show will premiere next month and Johnson has just shared the first trailer for the show.

“All the heroes have a story of origin,” the trailer begins as they show excerpts from some of The Rock’s great films. “But he doesn’t have a full mustache at 15,” the voice-over adds as a photo of a young Johnson appears on the screen. “It’s the true life story of The Rock.” The trailer shows excerpts from the show with different actors playing Johnson as a child, teenager and adult. “Ladies and gentlemen, here’s your first look at @nbcyoungrock,” Johnson wrote in the post’s title. I would really like my dad to be near this one to see him. Maaaaan would have been proud. And yes, I clearly kicked the ass of puberty at 15 and became a tequila mogul when I was 10 years old.
