The potatoes return to Taco Bell. Earlier this week, the fast food company announced it would reverse course to regain the option after reducing a substantial portion of its menu last fall. Suffice it to say that fans are ecstatic about the movement, so much so that the addition has become the topic of social media.

“The return of our beloved potatoes is just the first step in showing our fans the continued strong commitment to the vegetarian we are making this year,” said Liz Matthews, CEO of Taco Bell Food Innovation. “We’ve been leaders in the vegetarian space for a long time, but this year we have more meatless options in store than vegetarians, vegetable curious and even meat eaters will‘ love ’it.
