FORECAST SUMMARY

Sometimes the sky will become cloudy today, but many of us will see a sunnier sky than a more cloudy sky.

It will be windy and cold with highs in the low 40s.

The winds stop at sunset (5:01 pm) and the wind stays gentle all night.

The skies will become cloudy tonight as a piece of energy crosses us.

Then, on Monday, we are partially sunny. Although it is less windy than today, on Monday you will still notice a breeze from time to time.

It’s cold and windy all week. The highs are in the 30s all week from Tuesday.

Tuesday starts sunny, but in the afternoon it gets dark as a cold front approaches.

The faint cold forehead will give us some bursts in the evening. A point or two at the Poconos will get a quick splash. The rest we see no flakes on the ground.

Wednesday will be the sunniest day of the week.

Take advantage of the clear sky and go see Uranus on Wednesday evening.

Uranus will be between Mars and the crescent moon. The moon will be lower in the sky. Then look for the brightest object located directly above the moon above, that is, Mars. Mars has a red hue when you see it through binoculars.

The brightest object near Mars is Uranus. It will be a little further down and a little to the left of Mars. It will be much smaller than Mars, so you want the binoculars to look good. If you have binoculars, you will see a blue hue.

Late at night, the sky becomes cloudy and we are cloudy Thursday morning and noon. The clouds come from other cold frontal crosses.

This front has a little more energy than the Tuesday front. So we’ll see a quick snow dust at points in the Lehigh Valley, Schuylkill and Berks region and The Poconos at lunchtime. Philly and the suburbs of Philly will only see a little rain. Then we will see some sun in the sky late in the afternoon.

Day 2 Forecast.png

We don’t care that this front becomes a snowstorm, and it runs over us, which is why we get less than a snow cover.

Partly sunny Friday, and mostly sunny Saturday and Sunday next weekend.

3-day forecast.png

Next weekend is also quite cold, with highs only in the mid-30s or 30s.
