PlayStation is reportedly losing one of its biggest exclusive games this year. Last year was an important year for PS4 exclusives. For example, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II, i Royal May person all published just last year. Remake of Final Fantasy VII it was also released last year as a PS4 exclusive and apparently in 2021 it will hit PS5 and apparently will no longer be PlayStation exclusive because it looks like it will also hit PC this year.
The report is what KatharsisT, a Reset Era user, does, which doesn’t reveal much, but claims that Square Enix will announce that the game will hit PS5 sometime this year. And that makes sense. Of course it is. Still, the rumor doesn’t stop there. He goes on to point out that the PS5 version will be announced along with a PC version. Now, this may surprise some, but rumors and leaks from the past have not only suggested that the acclaimed RPG would hit PCs, but also Xbox consoles. That said, right now, the said insider does not mention Xbox.
Unfortunately, this is where the details end and it is important to remember that everything disclosed here is of the unofficial variety and should therefore be taken with a grain of salt. While many trust the source in question, there have been cases where they have been wrong, which, to some extent, is part of being a more unusual informant.
As you may recall, last year the PC code was found in the game demo files, while one of the game’s trailers included images of PC games. There could be nothing, but the combination and the combination again with this rumor is enough evidence to suggest that something has happened. After all, where there is smoke, there is usually fire.
