The deployment of the COVID-19 vaccine continues in several parts of the country, with most states limiting the availability of health care workers and other essential employees in addition to the elderly. To that end, famed comedian Steve Martin took to social media to reveal the good news the vaccine had gotten and the bad news of it all, which we won’t spoil yet. “Good news / Bad news. Good news: I just got vaccinated!” Martin wrote. “Bad news: I got it because I’m 75. Yeah! The operation in New York was as smooth as silk (sorry for the cliché @BCDreyer!) And welcomed perfectly by the U.S. Army and National Guard. to all and thank science “.
When a fan asked him what he did to sign up for the vaccine, Martin replied, “I signed up on the ON line through a New York dot government website (sorry, I don’t have the exact location ) and I waited on the IN line at the Javits Center. ” Another asked about the side effects with Martin writing, “Right now I have no resets.”

Martin has been a frequent beacon of hope during the ongoing pandemic, previously making a joke about wearing public masks and how he can make sure everyone knows it’s Steve Martin while his face is covered. It was a simple solution.

Despite the pandemic, Martin has remained busy publishing the book “A Wealth of Pigeons: A Cartoon Collection” with New York cartoonist Harry Bliss in November; and appears on Netflix Father of the bride Part 3 (ish). Presented as a near-sequel, this new reading table saw Martin return as the titular father alongside cast members Diane Keaton, Kieran Culkin, Martin Short, George Newbern and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
