Gustavo “Falcó” Peña, one of the great legends of Mexican football, died this Tuesday morning leaving behind a historical legacy as a footballer. The most important was his participation with the Mexican National Team in the World Cup Mexico 70, Where the Tri reached the Quarterfinals for the first time in its history in a competition FIFA.
the MX League announced the death of the hawk Rock in a statement expressing his condolences to the family of the former defender who served in teams such as Gold, Blue Cross, Monterrey and Lagoon. He also played in Chivas as a reinforcement during a tour of Europe.
In addition to being an important piece in the America of the 60s and 70s, the hawk Rock was selected national for the Globes of the World of 1966 and 1070.
